This page collects science-based meditation articles and explains them in plain English. Each article summary now gives the full research title, a longer explanation, careful interpretation, limitations and a proper source link at the bottom.
The wording stays careful: meditation may support relaxation, focus, self-awareness and some stress-related outcomes for many people, but it is not presented as a cure or replacement for professional care.

A Randomized Clinical Trial Reveals Effects of Mindfulness Practice With Slow Breathing on Plasma Amyloid Beta Levels

The authors reported that one week of daily mindfulness practice with slow breathing decreased plasma amyloid beta levels, while mindfulness with normal breathing increased those levels and the no-intervention group showed no change.
Systematic Review and Meta-Analysis of Effects of Standalone Digital Mindfulness-Based Interventions on Sleep in Adults
