Workplace meditation
Meditation for work and organisations
Workplace meditation should be practical, inclusive and low-pressure. The goal is not to make employees responsible for systemic problems, but to offer skills that support attention, decompression and emotional awareness.
Useful workplace formats
- 10-minute reset before or after meetings.
- Lunch-and-learn session on attention and the nervous system.
- Neuroscience and meditation seminar for staff wellbeing days.
- Optional guided practice for small teams.
Ethical wording for workplaces
Meditation should be voluntary. It should not replace safe staffing, fair work practices, psychological safety, medical care, counselling or proper management. For many teams, the healthiest approach is to combine practical organisational improvements with optional wellbeing skills.
